These engines were pulled running from reefer trucks; they are palletised for freight and loaded onto your carrier’s trailer by forklift. Listed at $1,500. The question is what else on the unit has aged with the engine. If the evaporator and condenser coils are sound, the compressor holds oil pressure and the controller works, a replacement engine is far cheaper than a replacement unit and puts a reefer back on the road in a day. If the coils are corroded and the compressor is tired, you are about to spend the price of a used unit in labour.
